Responsibilities

We are looking for a warm, patient and reliable Female Support Worker who will take the time to get to know her, understand how she communicates and build a positive, trusting relationship. The successful applicant will need to be comfortable providing hands-on care and working as part of a consistent and supportive team.

Our client also completes regular hydrotherapy sessions at home as part of her therapy programme. The successful applicant will therefore need to be confident in and around water and able to support her safely during hydrotherapy sessions.

A full induction and training will be provided.  This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check.

  • Confident in and around water and willing to support the client during hydrotherapy sessions.
  • Patient, reliable, flexible and able to provide consistent, person-centred support.
  • Comfortable providing personal care and supporting an individual with complex physical needs.
  • Ability to build and maintain a positive, professional relationship with the client and her family.

  • Work directly with one client, allowing time to build a meaningful, consistent and trusting professional relationship.
  • Opportunity to make a genuine difference to the client’s independence, wellbeing, community access and quality of life.
  • Bespoke induction and training specific to the client’s needs, including moving and handling, PEG/Mic-Key care and therapy support.
