The ability to drive using the family vehicle is essential
We are looking for a warm, patient and reliable individual with excellent communications skills to join an existing team who support and facilitate the independence of a young man with Cerebral Palsy living in his own home.
Our Client has some physical and emotional support needs and requires some prompting and supervision in carrying out acts of daily living. An important element of this role will be to engage our Client in positive activities outside the home including attending college, Pedal Power and visiting the cinema.
Your ability to maintain a consistent and proactive approach, whilst being flexible, reliable and enthusiastic will be key in encouraging our Client to explore and attend further educational, social and leisure facilities within the local area as well as promoting his independent skills.
Whilst experience in this area of work is preferred, it is not essential as a full induction and training will be provided.
