Description

I am 11 years old and have complex health needs because of my medical condition.  I need 24/7 1:1 support in all areas of daily life.  You will be part of my amazing team which is led by my Mum and case manager.

I am described by the people who know me best as ‘amazing, determined and loving’, I am sociable and have a great sense of humour.  I need lots of support on a daily basis but sometimes I’m not able to do much, however when I am able, I like nothing better than to go on a trip out.

Responsibilities

I am looking for enthusiastic, fun, patient and reliable Female Support Workers to help me engage in the activities I love, including home schooling, surfing and skiing.  You will need to be calm and patient under pressure with the ability to work your hours flexibly.

 

A full induction and training will be provided.  This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS.

 

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

 

To join me as a Female Support Worker it is essential you: -

  • Have experience of working with children who have high care needs, in particular, epilepsy.
  • Be able to drive and have use of a car and be willing to drive the family van.
  • Have the ability to work your hours flexibly.

Monday – Sunday (Flexibility essential) / 12 hour and 8 hours shifts Mon- Fri, 5-hour shifts weekend only and occasional Sleep in night / Shift Patterns: 07:00 – 19:00 | 07:00 – 15:00 | 19:00 – 07:00 – would include 8 hours sleep in rate. Weekend 07:00 -12:00
